“I do not prefer to talk about the referees’ performance. We missed an important player by sending him off the pitch with a red card in his pocket. I have no idea if our player touched Al Jazira striker by his foot,” the assistant head coach of Al Ain First Football Team, Patrick Fredrick stated in the post-match press conference of matchweek 6 of the Arabian Gulf League.

He added: “At any rate, Al Ain performed well against the guests though were down by one. We did feel that the players were ready in the changing room. We were more serious and well organized. We created real chances to score because we knew what was meant to do in the pitch.”

On the massive number of fans standing behind the Boss players tonight, Patrick said that fans’ enthusiasm and cheerleading had an explicit impact on the players’ performance. “If we want to achieve the club’s goals together in the current season, we should observe such stunning support in all our coming matches.”

He concluded his statement by saying: “I am happy by the team’s performance, but unfortunately, we did not snatch the three points. I do believe that the fans were satisfied with the team’s performance.”
