Al Ain player Saad Khamis stressed that Al Ain will have a tough affair against the home team, Al Fujairah. “Our opponent has been showing impressive performance this current season. Absolutely, playing against the Boss is an immense challenge for all competitors and they prepare for the match differently. This requires to be fully focused as of the kickoff whistle until the last minute of the match,” he said.
Khamis hailed the Croatian head coach Zoran Mamic for his immense support, his explicit full confidence in the players potentials and encouraging them to keep going with the excellent results and performance that help the squad to achieve the best results. “We are required to be up to the challenges and take the advantage of playing the Arabian Gulf Cup as a great opportunity for us as young players to exhibit our quality skills and do our best to defend the team’s logo honorably. It is a great opportunity for us to be part of the coach’s options and be included in the starting VI of the first team.”
Khamis added: “We have the motives to declare the team’s qualification from Fujairah and snatch the three points in line with the club’s strategy to compete to win titles and not only to be participate in competitions.”
