“Wearing Al Ain FC’s logo will always be every footballer’s dream.”
His technical skills, remarkable ability to control the ball, and precise passes made Amer Abdulrahman one of the UAE’s best center midfielders.
Amer’s football career first started with Baniyas FC after undergoing special tests in order to play with the juniors category, and he was accepted immediately to join an outstanding group of strong players, including Theyab Awana, his brother Fawaz Awana, Haboush Saleh and many other players with whom he still has a good relationship.
“Wearing Al Ain FC’ jersey is a great honor for every footballer.” Amer said, “I am well aware that ‘The Boss’’ ambitions have no limits and thus you find the team ready to fight for all awards and titles every season, and I’m always ready for great challenges that await us at any time and on all levels.”
Amer shined as the star of the AFC U-19 Championship 2008 in Dammam, when he won the championship with the United Arab Emirates national under-20 team.
The most remarkable milestone in Amer Abdulrahman’s football career was the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt, when he was chosen as one of the top 10 players of the championship and attracted dozens of local professional offers. Furthermore, in 2010, he helped the Olympic team win the silver medal in the Asian Games in China, in addition to reaching the finals of the 2012 London Olympic Games and winning the 21st Gulf Cup of Nations in Manama in 2013.
