BANDAR AL AHBABI, AL AIN CLUB’S SON

In his first statement following rejoining the Boss, Bandar Mohammed Al Ahbabi said, “I came back home to defend, along with my teammates, the logo of one of the best Asian football clubs. It is the club where I grew up, and the club members who believed in my talent, and where I played in all its teams of football school and the academy until I joined the first team. Indeed, I am full of pride and gratitude to join the the leader of the UAE football again.”

Bandar Al Ahbabi expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to their Highness the Sheiks, leaders of Al Ain FC for granting him such a dear opportunity. Also, he extended his thanks and appreciation to the Board of Directors of Al Ain FC. He added that he will work hard and do his best to meet the Ainwai’s Nation expectations. Meanwhile, he affirmed that “It is not a surprise to be back to Al Ain, especially as I was well aware that the experience I had during the four past seasons with Al Dhafra and Bani Yas teams was an ideal opportunity to prove the fact that I am eligible to play in the Arabian Gulf League as a basic player.” He added, “I would also like to thank Al Ain’s fans for the significant messages and wonderful designs presented through the various social networking sites, in association with the official announcement of my return to Al Ain as a noteworthy welcome from the leader of inspiring initiatives. This means a lot for me boosts my desire to do my best helping my teammates to achieve the club’s desired goals.”

Bander Al Ahbabi started his career in the football world at Al Ain Football School. He progressed through the Club’s teams until he joined the first team when he was 17 years old based on a recommendation made by the German Coach, Winfried Schaefer. He was transferred to Al Dhafra Club temporarily for two season 2012-2014 before joining Al Ain again. In 2014, he was transferred to Bani Yas where he shined as a star in the Arabian Gulf League. This pushed Al Ain to recover his services again in 2016.
