Al Ain First Football Team player, Khalid Al Bloushi, expressed his sincerest appreciation for the coaching team under the command of Croatia’s Ivan Leko and the medical staff under the supervision of Dr. Jurica Rakić for their dedicated efforts that facilitated his speedy recovery of the injury he suffered from in the past two months and a half.

“I would also like to avail the opportunity to thank the administrative staff under the command of Sultan Rashid, the team supervisor, for upholding morality, and I thank God for rejoining the squad,” Al Bloushi added.

Responding to a question on his expectations of his team’s match against Al Dhafra, he said: “It is a fact that Al Ain Team is always required to win all their matches. This is why we know the responsibility we bear over our shoulders to defend the Boss badge. We do respect the aspirations of the opponent who will play their match in full squad, while we are missing the quality and key players, but our aim is to win the match. I believe that the match would be a good chance for us as bench players in the past period to prove that we deserve to be selected by the head coach as part of the team’s starting lineup.”

On his stunning goal in the net of Bani Yas last week in the U-21 League, he stated: “I thank God for scoring the victory goal in favor of my team. Certainly, this boosts my moral in the right manner and triggers my motivation to be back to the squad and be part of the head coach’s choices.”
