Leko Requires All-Stars to Boost up Their Efforts and Show Stamina During the Away Summer Camp

The Boss squad has kicked their Austria’s summer pre-season training camp by holding two morning and evening training sessions. The first session was held at gymnasium court attached to the team’s accommodation and dedicated to special physical training exercises to further support muscles and raise the player’s levels of fitness levels. The PT exercises included recovery and healing programs, muscles release exercises, swimming and jacuzzi sessions to release players from travel fatigue and make them ready for the coming intensive training sessions scheduled to be held during the first phase of the away camp prior playing the planned friendly matches.

Since day one of their arrival at the location of the summer camp, the team players were involved in the second stage of the pre-season training camp in preparation for an exceptional new season that has received a generous and unlimited of the founder of the Club’s success strategy, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the First Vice President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, and the First Vice President of Honorary Board. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed has already issued his directives to furnish all grounds to ensure achieving all the desired goals and honorably perform well and make all the loyal Ainawi fans happy through clinching new home and away titles.

Noteworthy, the Boss delegation arrived in Austria at 07:15 p.m. on Thursday 18th July 2019 (09:15 p.m. AD local time) via a private jet that took off from Al Ain International Airport to land safely at Flughafen International Airport. Then the team left to their hotel via a bus in an hour and a half trip.

An Important Meeting

The Croatian head coach, Ivan Leko, held a meeting with the team’s players to discuss with them the detailed program of the first stage. He called on everyone to maintain the high level of performance they all show during the home training camp. He also called on everyone to redouble their efforts to take advantage of the training programs optimally so that by the end of the camp they will reap the fruits of their hard work and reflect that during the coming season which everybody looks forward to achieving the desired goals.

In this regard, the Team Manager, Matar Obaid Al Dhaheri, put an accent on to be fully focused and have a vision of a future with lots of challenges considering that the leadership of the club has furnished all grounds to achieve the desired goals by showing their generous care, massive support and remarkable attention with sights set to make all members and fans happy.

He went on to say: “We are required to translate such great support, trust and attention to strong and positive results by clinching historical titles and winning championships to add to the achievements of the “Boss” and to ensure that all members, fans and and staffs of the club happy along with the lovers of the UAE football.”

Issam Abdullah, the team’s administrative officer, was keen to trigger the players’ motivation by his fervent words commending their potentials and quality skills and their ability to make the Ainawi Nation happy. Then he distributed the schedule of the camp program to all members of the team which include timings of prayer times, exercises, meals, details related to the work of the team during the first phase in Austria.

The Boss of Summer Transfers

The players of Al Ain squad have great ambitions and hopes to make the fans proud of them. The Ainawi Nation is looking forward to enjoy a successful season by all standards relying heavily on the skills of the best football stars who ended their past season as the runners up of the champs of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Al Ain took the lead this season by kicking off their pre-summer preparations sending shockwaves to all competitors by declaring the club’s explicit insistence to adopt the Croatian football school style due to the significant achievements over the last five years. In a translation of this trust, the management decided to conclude a contract with the talented coach Ivan Leko after maintaining the most important stars of the team and resolving the pending dossier of players in their last six months, namely: Khaled Issa, Ahmed Barman, Bandar Al Ahbabi, Mohammed Ahmad, Rayan Salim, Mohammed Abdul Rahman and Japan’s Tsukasa Shiotani. The Club also signed contracts with the trio, Mohammed Jamal from Al Jazira and Mohammed Hilal and Mohammed Shaker from Ajman. The Club also resumed its efforts to add more teeth to the front line of the team by having new three foreign players onboard: Brazilian Caio Canedo, Algerian Abdul Rahman Meziane and Togo Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba. The management also decided to reward a number of distinguished players of the club’s young sons with professional contracts, including Mohsen Abdullah, Mohammed Saeed Bu Senda, Falah Walid and Salem Abdullah. The total contracts signed so far has reached 18 ones.
