Ismael Ahmad: The AFC Champions League has a Special Place in Ainawis’ Hearts
The Captain of Al Ain Football Team, defender Ismael Ahmad, stated that the team would kick off their journey in the AFC Champions League 2020, having a new challenge when the team plays against Bunyodkor FC.
In the media conference held today, he stated: “We enjoy the required experience in this important championship as we are representing the UAE football in the Asian championship.”
He pointed out that Al Ain respects the Uzbek guests, who played a great match in the previous stage.
“We did prepare well in the prior period with sights set to achieve our specific goal. I have no doubt that the Ainawi fans will boost up our strength and redouble our chances to win the guests through their massive support.”
As for the team’s readiness to win the guest team, he said: “Al Ain is a big team, and their goal in all matches is to win, given that we are playing at home and among our fans.”
He signed off: “When it comes to the AFC Champions League, it has a special place in Ainawis’ hearts, and absolutely we are fully ready for the upcoming match against the Uzbek team with all due respect for their aspirations.”
