Mohammed Al Shamsi: Proud to Be Part of This significant Historical Event
“Being tasked to comment on the first match to be broadcasted on Al Ain TV Channel is a great honor for me as it is an important historic event even if it is a friendly game,” said Mohammed Al Shamsi, the well-known Emirati sports commentator.
He added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the officials of the Al Ain TV Channel for extending this personal invitation to contribute, along with the work team of Al Ain Media Company, in providing a unique media service to Al Ain City citizens and lovers of the Boss everywhere. I hope I succeeded in fulfilling my task, and I wish the management of the company all the best and to achieve the desired goals of establishing such a big sports media entity.”
Al Shamsi pointed out: “Al Ain celebrated its Golden Jubilee last year in an expectational manner in the FIFA Club World Cup- UAE 2018. It was an unprecedented achievement locally and regionally by ending as the runners-up of the champs Real Madrid.”
He also stated: “I believe it is a must as a global club to keep pace with all indicators of development as a global club that has a prestigious position at the continental and global levels. Indeed, launching such an integrated media system matches the aspirations of the leadership of this big sports entity and its loyal fans everywhere.”
Al Shamsi underscored that Al Ain TV Channel could present relevant and useful content, as it covers the club’s news and events, in addition to all events taking place in the Green City. He also said that it would reflect all the city’s tourism, commercial, social, economic, and sports activities. “Such a feature cannot be found on any other TV channels because Al Ain is the only club in the Gardens City and I expect the company will achieve a great success based on the meaningful content it provides to its audience.”
In response to a question on his expectations for the new season and nominated teams to win the league shield, he said: “I expect an exceptional season, taking into account the current arrangements of all clubs to boost the strength of their squads by signing new foreign and local players to their teams. I am sure we will witness an advanced and strong competition among all teams. Although everything is expected in the world of football, top teams who are nominated to compete strongly to clinch the title are Al Ain, Al Wahda, Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, Al Nasr, Al Sharjah, Al Jazira, and Al Wasl. I do wish all the teams all the best.”
