Moustapha Zeghba: Experience of ES Sétif’s players Tipped the Scales in our Favor

ES Sétif’s goal keeper, Moustapha Zeghba, stated that his clash return match against Al Ain was so difficult due to the short 5-day interval between the first leg match which ended by winning Al Ain by 2-1 and the return match. “It is not a secret to hide if I told you that the lots of pressures were present during the whole past days as we all were determined to qualify to the next stage of the Arab Club Champions Cup,” said he.

He added: “I would like to thank all my teammates who were up to expectations and fully responsible. Thank God we have qualified!! Definitely, the experience of ES Sétif enabled them to tip the scales in their favor.”

He hailed the head coach of the team who changed the shape of the team through bringing new bloods who proved to be an added value to the team and enhanced its strike force. “We had a great starting point in CAF African Champions League and we did qualify at the expense of Al Ain, the big team with great football history at the level of Asian continent,” said he. Moustapha signed off: “This absolutely gives us the motive to move forward with heads high and reach the furthest point in this competition.”
