Al Ain forward player, Jamal Marouf, underlined the importance f wining Al Nasr in the coming matchweek 4 of the Arabian Gulf Cup scheduled to be held on Friday 11th October 2019 at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

“We will resume winning all coming matches and win the three points of the coming match to qualify to the next stage given that we are playing at home and among our loyal fans,” Jamal said.

On Al Nasr’s instability and poor performance during the past matches, he said: “Al Nasr’s recent negative results are not reliable criteria to assess the team’s performance when it comes to playing against Al Ain. We are fully aware that our opponent is a big team and able to show their genuine quality, given that all teams stand tall when they play against the Boss.

Commenting on how the players overcome the negative impact of losing the team’ steam’s recent match against Al Sharjah, he said: “Al Sharjah match is something of the past, and I prefer not to talk about the match itself, and things happened at that time. At any rate, we outperformed the home team and the players did their best. Indeed, Al Ain is a big team and enjoys the culture of winning titles and easily adapts and handles any situation. We all have closed that chapter and focusing only on our upcoming match against Al Nasr.”

On playing against his former club, Marouf stated: “I was nurtured in Al Nasr Club, and they introduced me to the sports arena. Today, I am Ainawi and defend the logo of the Boss with all due respect to “Al Ameed.”

Jamal commended the stunning and massive support of the Ainawi Nation, who has been standing behind their team and adopting unprecedented initiatives. “Each Ainawi looks forward to seeing the team competing to win all titles. It is not the weight or significance of the championship we are playing in, but it is all about our target to win all our matches whatever it takes.”
