Al Ain young player, Salem Abdullah “20 years”, expressed his sincerest gratitude and deepest appreciation to the Croatian Head Coach Zoran Mamic for his trust he granted to him when he included his name in the starting line-up during the team’s last match against Al Jazira. He underlined: “The head coach’s trust and the support of my teammates’ and the club’s management as well motivated me to push myself to the limit during the training sessions and matches. I do believe that any player has the opportunity to play for Al Ain is a lucky one as definitely he would receive full support of the coaching team and his teammates, specially the experienced players and the loyal Ainawi Nation.”

Commenting on the Head Coach’s special mention of his performance during the post-match press conference of Al Jazira, he said: “Absolutely, the head coach’s commendation is a great motive for me and augment my feelings of responsibilities to redouble my efforts and boost my level of performance. This will be achieved through commitment, seriousness and raising the level of concentration during training sessions and matches. I hope to be up to the expectations and be able to meet all challenges.”

On the match against Al Dhafra, he said: “Al Ain adopts a sound strategic plan in preparing players for all matches whilst showing respect to the opponent regardless of their name or position in the standing table. We must redouble our efforts and exhibit our genuine fighting spirit to snatch the match’s three points, given that all competitors do their best when playing against the Boss. However, our goal is crystal-clear, and we aim to win the guests with all due respect to their aspirations.”
