The Two Players Join Al Ain’s Preseason Camp in Slovenia.. Saad Khamis and Jamal Marouf Sign to the “Boss”

Al Ain Club has completed the contracting processes with the two strikers Jamal Marouf, 26 years, and Saad Khamis, 23 years, on free transfer. Al Ain officials concluded the contracts with the two new players to enhance the team’s strike force given the heavy load challenges and tight schedule the team has this new coming season. The two players are to join their teammates at their away preseason training camp in Slovenia on Wednesday 8th August 2018.

Jamal Marouf who has recently terminated his contract with Al Sharjah amicably expressed his honor and pride to defend Al Ain’s logo, the “Boss” of UAE clubs and UAE’s sport ambassador in the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2018. “I had a dream to wear Al Ain jersey for long time ago. Thanks God for concluding the deal and being able to realize my aspiration to play for Al Ain,” said Jamal. EH added: “I do understand that Al Ain is a big club and aware of its value and position among other clubs. I will spare no efforts to serv its best interests and redouble my efforts and meet all expectations. I will work hard to win the confidence of the technical and administrative staff as will as the great loyal Ainawi fans.”

As for his negotiations with Al Ain following settling all issues with his former team, Al Sharjah, he said: “Certainly, all went well and in a professional manner. As I stated earlier, wearing the logo of this lofty and big team is an honor for any football player at the level of the whole continent. This is why all went flawlessly.”

“I am giving my word to the “Ainawi Nation” that I will sincerely fight and defend the “Boss’” logo in all future challenges awaiting us this coming new season,” Jamal said. He went on to say: “I will do my best to meet the expectations of my Croatia’s Head Coach. I do wish all the best to my teammate and myself to achieve all aspirations of the loyal fans.”

On his turn, Saad Khamis stated: “So proud to wear Al Ain’ logo and I am well aware that I have lots of challenges ahead. It is a historical part of my career to paly with the most prominent team in Asia. This definitely imposes lots of requirements on me and I have to boost my efforts to the highest levels and fight bravely to defend the Club’s logo. I hope my performance will meet Coach Zoran Mamic’s expectations and all Al Ain’s loyal and great fans.”

He assures that he is ready for the coming new season as he enrolled a private special morning and evening training program during the past period. “Tomorrow, I will fly to Slovenia to join the team’s preseason camp. I would to thank the Club’s management, Head Coach and the dearest fans for their highly appreciated trust. I wish all the best to my teammates and myself in the coming season and be able to fulfill the aspirations of the “Boss’” fans,” stressed he.

Noteworthy, Saad Khamis started his career with Al Shabab Club prior being merged with Al Ahli and Dubai clubs. He played for Al Ahli Shabab Dubai prior being transferred on loan to Hatta Club, and then he has joined Al Ain Club.

Jamal Marouf commenced his career with Al Nasr Club, then he moved to Emirates Club prior joining Al Sharjah and finally he joined Al Ain Club.
