Renewed His Confidence in Squad’s Stars.. Al Darmaki Meets the Players Prior Their Match Against Sepahan FC We Do Not Seek Excuses and So Keen to Sustain the Boss’ Aspirations
H.E. Dr. Matar Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Al Ain Football Club Company, held a meeting with the players at their residence before kicking off the training session in preparation for the team’s round 4 match of the AFC Champions League against Sepahan FC scheduled to be held on Monday 21st September 2020.
Dr. Al Darmaki stressed that everybody is held responsible for the recent loss based on the concept of joined liability in support of the Boss’ aspirations and not the players only.
“Today, we are meeting here not to seek excuses or justifications for such a loss. It is a fact that losing a match does not mean the end of the world for the big clubs, but a real beginning to fix things and back again strongly to achieve new victories. We have important matches to defend our crest in the upcoming days. We have firm confidence in all of you regardless of any circumstances we may face,” Dr. Al Darmaki stated.
Mr. Chairman called upon all the team’s members to close the chapter of the two past confrontations and focus on the new challenge against Sepahan.
He addressed his speech to the players, saying, “We have full confidence in your potentials and skills to be back to the right track of victories because you are simply up to it.”
H.E. Dr. Al Darmaki also held two separate meetings with the coaching teams and administrative staff attended by H.E. Majid Al Owais, Board Member of the Al Ain Football Club Company. During the meeting, the attendees tackled all the team’s current issues.
He put an accent on the importance of the hard work, especially in the upcoming stages, to back into form and boost up the team’s potentials in the manner that meets all the ambitions of the Club’s members and fans.
Noteworthy, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) decided to hold the pre-match press conference dedicated to the round 4 match between Al Ain FC and Sepahan FC at 13:30 on Sunday, 20th September 2020. The press conference will be attended by coach Pedro Emmanuel and one of the team’s players.
The team started their preparations for the upcoming match by holding a training session this evening and a moderate training session for the players who played the past game.
