Abdullah Ali: The Serious Offer of Al Ain Club Gives It the Upper Hand Over Other Offers and We Did It

Danilo is ready to be on the XI for tomorrow’s match

Al Ain Football Club Company has officially announced this evening the completion of all documentation and procedures to sign Colombia’s defender Danio Arboleda to Al Ain Team’s lineup as part of the winter window transfers.

The new player replaces the “international” Tunisian defender Yassin Mariah who suffered from a cruciate ligaments injury during his national football team participation in the FIFA Arab Cup- 2021.

On this occasion, Abdulla Ali, Al Ain Team Supervisor, pointed out that the Al Ain Club succeeded in signing the Danilo to the team for a season and a half.

He added: “The Colombian defender was under Ukraine’s head coach, Sergiy Rebrov, and part of his priorities for the coming stages. Naturally, therefore, he included his name in his technical report submitted to the Pro Committee, who in turn approved his recommendations.”

Abdullah Ali stated that he believes the new defender enjoys the skills and makes him capable of making a difference and adding value to the team. He wished him and his teammates all the best of luck.

Commenting on the transfers of local, resident and foreign players during the current winter window, Abdullah Ali stated: “I would like to avail this opportunity to extend to the members of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club Company, chaired by Dr. Matar Al Darmaki, my sincerest apperception, and gratitude for their outstanding attentiveness to sort out the team’s requirements dossier within the allocated timeframe of winter window transfers. Of course, the beginning was with concluding the deal of Arboleda, who got several Gulf and European offers, but we did it and concluded the contract in an ideal time.”

The Team Supervisor emphasized that Al Ain Club’s strategy is crystal-clear when it comes to the contract dossiers. He said: “As I stated earlier, we receive substantial support and attention of the members of the Board of Directors regarding any recommendation submitted by the Pro Committee that is based on the coach’s report.”

He stated that it is not a secret that the dedicated efforts exerted by the Pro Committee to sort out players’ contracts during this winter window make us feel confident “due to the adoption of a distinguished policy in dealing with all parties based on the principle of professionalism, transparency, and seriousness.”
