Acclaimed the Players for the result and performance.. Pedro Emmanuel: Fully Committed with the Precautionary Measures and All Set for the League
Al Ain FC head coach, Pedro Emmanuel, stated that his comments on his team’s performance against Saudi Arabia Al Nasr are simple.
“We achieved a significant victory, and our mission was not easy, given that we were playing against a tough team with young fresh players. Our squad was so keen to defend the team’s badge, and we did it and won our first match in this championship. The players performed well and snatched the three points,” Pedro Emmanuel said in the post-match press conference following his team’s victory over Saudi Arabia Al Nasr 0-1.
He added: “I congratulate my players for their performance and the result because they exerted lots of efforts in ACL-2020, considering that its regulations were amended due to the breakthrough of Coronavirus. The schedule was so tight, and the only way to snatch the round 6 match’s points was to show the challenging and fighting spirit, to redouble our efforts and show commitment.”
Meanwhile, he pointed out that he was not happy with the match’s level due to the massive efforts exerted by the Boss squad in the previous four games within only nine days. “It was not easy for us, and we did not change the team’s lineup as we desire to win our matches and fully determined to do it.”
He took the opportunity to thank all the players for their outstanding efforts and pointed out, “we always aim to achieve victories to make our fans happy.”
Pedro also hoped to be lucky enough in the new season and prove that the Boss could win all the upcoming competitions.
Responding to lessons learned out of ACL-2020, he stated: “The answer is so simple! The four matches we played is good preparation for the local season. We are now all set to kick off our local matches as we were in deep need of such official matches as we did not play any matches for a long time.”
Pedro Emmanuel said that all conditions are available to be back in the atmosphere of official matches.
He concluded that the team was fully committed by the safety and security measures by the book and per the health protocols adopted locally and continentally. “We are all set to play the matches of the Arabian Gulf League and President’s Cup.”
