We are not fully Ready to Play 90 Minutes, but We are on the Right Track

In his statement following the end of Al Ain and Al Wahda friendly match, which Al Ain won the guests by 4-1, coach Pedro Emmanuel stated that we are required at this stage, which is so crucial for the Boss squad to play more matches and be part of various competitions.

“We need such challenges to create the required balance within the team, particularly the “international” players who have just rejoined the team and did not train with the team following the end of the UAE national team camp in Serbia,” Pedro added.

He pointed out that the team should play more matches as it took them a long time to play as a whole squad. “We are not all set to play a full 90 minutes, yet we are on the right track. We are required to work harder and be ready for the official matches as soon as possible. Our competitors in ACL2020 are done with their season and played official matches, and this is why we need to do our best in our first matches.”

“Despite the hot weather, the players did well, and we have to make our fans happy given the long suspension period. We know how people love football, especially here in Al Ain City.”

The Boss head coach took the opportunity to address a message to his players where he stated: “It is all about performance, commitment, and development. These are the most important factors we should realize, and this would be generated and instilled in the players by playing more official matches.”
