Sultan Rashid, Supervisor of the Al Ain first and reserved football teams, pointed out that the head coach Pedro Emmanuel decided to join four players of the Al Ain Reserved Football Team, namely Saud Al Mehri, Ali Saud Al Blooshi, Saif Al Harthi, and Khaled Al Blooshi. He justified selecting the four players as Mohammed Jamal and Saeed Al Minhali are scheduled to join the National Service. Also, the first team would be missing Mohammed Ahmad and Mohammed Saeed due to injury.

Responding to a question on the pre-match preparation, he said: “The team’s preparations are ongoing per the head coach’s pre-set plan. The team is playing their fifth friendly match before flying on Friday evening via a private jet.”

Sultan Rashid confirmed the Boss squad would do their best to perform honorably in line with the desired aspirations.

On the press reports claiming that Mohammed Jamal will leave the team, Sultan denied such fake news saying that “Mohammed Jamal is one of the key players that Pedro Emmanuel relies heavily on them. Such news is not right, considering that seeing him and Rayan Yaslam joining the team will boost the middle line strength in the upcoming matches of the new season.”
