Al Ain’s Local Organizing Group Gets the Credit for a Job Well Done
Al Ain’s Local Organising Group of the AFC Asian Cup- 2019 has got the credit for all the great effort paid by its members to have positive atmosphere for all national teams and guests of the tournament. The group received the appreciation of all participating delegations in this eminent continental sport event for the significant role played by its members. The group’s efforts complement the other groups’ efforts working hard in other cities hosting the tournament activities to make this event a success story.
The efforts of the Al Ain Group were not limited to facilitate accommodation for delegations and managing media centres, indeed they lunched numerus initiatives through participating in special events dedicated for the players and honouring them on the occasion of their birthdays and presenting roses when delegations arrive at their residences.
The AFC on its official website praised the idea of placing a bouquet of roses in front of the head coaches of Jordan and Syria national teams during the pre and post-match press conferences, in addition to placing the logo of each team and the AFC logo. The initiative meant to reflect the spirit of tolerance and coexistence and showing the due respect among the participating teams. The initiative is based on the UAE’s vision aims to reflect the honourable image that emphasizes the great and significant human values and to show the best image of UAE’s commitment to all that gives guests comfort and safety.
Wadie Abdul Nour, Lebanon’s National Team coordinator, described the great hospitality shown to his team in Al Ain City that it reflects the great image of the UAE that hosted the delegations participating in the current edition of the Asian Cup- UAE 2019. “The organizing committee reflected the wonderful image of country for the team participating in such tough and great tournament full of positive atmosphere. Al Ain Group received us with roses and flowers upon our arrival at Rotana Hotel. This means a lot for us and shows how the members of the group are keen to create positive atmosphere and give them the chance to show their best in the tournament.”
The media representatives were also keen to express their gratitude for the true eye of hospitality that Al Ain Group was keen to show for all the media staff. They insisted that this show the value of hosting the event in the UAE and such an impressive arrangement gave them the opportunity to perform their professional duties with the best and high standards that match such a prominent event.
Emad Al Amiri, Coordinator of Syria National Team, underlined that the impressive level of hospitality attracted the attention of everyone in the team, not only in Al Ain but also in the other cities of UAE where the team played their matches as part of the AFC Asian Cup- UAE 2019. He stated: “The local organizing committees in Al Ain Group continued to work in a way that provides the best amenities for the players in recognition of the great participation of the Asian and Arab teams in the tournament.
