“I know deep well that everyone is expecting more from the team. I did explain that to the players, and we must redouble our efforts and work more seriously in training sessions and matches this season,” Sergiy Rebrov stated in the media conference of matchweek 5 of the ADNOC Pro League held today at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium.
He added: “Work atmosphere inspires and pushes the team to improve their performance further and achieve stunning results. We have to focus well on our next match as each match means 3 points, and we only concentrate on each match separately.”
As for his expectation of the coming away match against the Al Urooba Team, he said: “We only pay attention to our team, and we do respect the opponents’ aspirations.”
The head coach pointed out that he talked to the players on how important to have the victorious mindset and that all are ready to play matchweek 5.
As for players who might not play the coming match, he confirmed that all the players are ready except Caio Canedo, and “we still have two more training sessions ahead of our match against Urooba Team and will see what happens.”
