Amouri sent congrats by partners
Before Al Ain-Al Wasl game started at HBZ Stadium, the partners of Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club extended their congratulations to Al Ain FC leader Omar Abdurrahman on winning the ‘Asian Footballer of the Year’ title. The event was witnessed by H.E Ghanem Mubarak Al Hajeri, Al Ain FC Company Chairman; H.E Mohamed Obeid ‘Hammad’, Board member and General Supervisor of Al Ain First Team & Backup Team and Captain Sultan Rashid, Board member and General Supervisor of Al Ain Football Academy.
Two memorial shields were presented to Omar; first from Ali Al Kaabi, the Wealth Department Head at First Gulf Bank, Al Ain FC team official sponsor and then from Fares Salem Al Mazrouei, Al Ain International Airport CEO on behalf of Abu Dhabi Airports.
A first-Class open-ended air ticket from Etihad Airways was presented to Omar by Peter Baumgartner, CEO, and Hareb Al Muheiri, Vice-President. Omar also received a memorial shield and a bouquet of purple flowers from Atiq Al Dhaheri representing Al Qudra Holding.
Omar was also congratulated by UAE Pro League Committee represented by Salah Al Marzouqi, Match Commissioner, who presented a nice bouquet of flowers. Finally, Omar was given Al Wasl Jersey No 10 with his name inscribed on it along with a bouquet of flowers by Mohamed Al Ameri, CEO and Board member of Al Wasl FC Company.
