Down by One Man.. The Boss Returns from the Smiley Emirate with a Deserved Victory over Al Bataeh

Al Ain squad returned from the Smiley Emirate to their fort with three points in hands following a desereved victory over the home team, Al Bataeh, 3-2. The match was held at Mohammed bin Saqr Al Qasemi Stadium in Khorfakkan Club on Sunday 22nd January 2023 as part of round 13 of ADNOC Pro League.

The Boss squad took the lead in the first half 2-0. The triple goals were scored by Laba Kodjo at “24 and 87” and Andriy Yarmolenko at “35”. The home team scored by Al Ain’s defender Kouame Autonne’s own goal at “60” and Lourency Do who restored parity for Al Bataeh

This result means Al Ain stays in the seventh spot with 22 points, while Al Bataeh remains eleventh with 13 points.
