Dr. Matar Presents Al Ain Club’s Memorial Shield to Adel Oqlah.. Al Ain Team is Held to Goalless Draw to Al Kuwait Team
Al Ain Team was held to a goalless draw to Kuwait’s Kuwait Team by the end of the friendly match held on Saturday, 14th January 2022, at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium. The game was held in preparation for the current season’s official matches to be resumed soon after the one-month break.
Dr. Matar Al Darmaki, Chairman of Al Ain Football Club Company, presented AL Ain Club’s memorial shield after the first half of the match to Adel Oqlah, Head of the Kuwait Team delegation and board member of the Kuwait Team Club Company. Khaled Hamarain, Vice-Chairman, Matar Ghumran, and Salem Al Junaibi, board members, attended the honorary ceremony along with a number of the administrative members of the Kuwait Team.
Al Ain Squad
The Ukrainian coach, Sergiy Rebrov, started the match with a squad consisting of Mohammad Saeed Bu Senda, Bandar Al Ahbabi, Tin Jedvaj, Kouame Autonne, Erik Jorgens, El Mahdi Moubarik, Ahmed Berman, Jonatas de Santos, Soufiane Rahimi, Andriy Yarmolenko and Laba Kodjo. The coach gave the opportunity to the following players as substitutes: Sultan Al Mandhari, Mohammad Ahmad, Saeed Ahmad, Mohammad Ali Shaker, Omar Saeed, and Raphael Pereira.
