Marking the first home match to be held in Hazza bin Zayed Stadium and celebrating the return of the fans to the stands after 554 days of absence from the stands, Al Ain Club surprised the fans by presenting them elegant purple flower bouquets with warm welcoming messages attached to them.

Noteworthy, the last match attended by the fans at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium was during the match against KSA Al Nasr as part of the competitions of the AFC Champions League. As for the last match attended by the fans in the league, it was against Al Sharjah on 7th February 2020, i.e., before one year six months and 18 days. The match ended by a 1-1 draw. The goals were scored by Laba Kodjo and Caio Lucas.
