Juniors Tournaments Are Among the Basic Standards in Developing Al Ain Club School and Academy Teams

The Talent Care Committee Adopts Best Practices to Rely On the Club’s Children in the Future

H.E. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, a member of the Talent Care Committee, crowned the Al Ain Club U-11 Team with the title of the Junior League “A,” organized by the UAE Football Association (UAEFA).

It is worth noting that Al Ain U-11 Team achieved an unprecedented record in their journey to win the Junior League. The team scored 194 points at the finish line per the competition regulation, which boosts the offensive power of the competing teams.

The team played 22 matches, winning 19, drawing twice, and losing once. The Boss team’s strikers scored 194 goals and were classified as the most robust offensive line. Meanwhile, the team conceded 25 goals and ranked as the most robust defensive line.

The coronation of the team players at Hazza Al Mansouri Football Field, one of the Al Ain Club Football Academy fields attached to Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium, as a reward for the great efforts exerted by the work teams.

The extraordinary and exciting coronation ceremony was attended by the junior players, their parents, coaching teams, and admin staff, who all expressed their pleasure and high appreciation for the Club’s management, who paid a massive level of attention to the Club’s sons over the course of an entire season. They exerted tremendous effort and professionalism represented in the high-end communication and continuous coordination from the school and academy management with parents regarding the development of the players’ performance indicators academically and mentally. In addition, they need more effort in monitoring and following up on the players’ nutritional, health, and technical programs inside and outside the Club.

H.E. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud valued the excellent care and generous support that the junior players’ sector has been receiving from H.H. Sheikh Hazaa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the First Deputy of the Club President, First Vice President for the Honorary Council, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Club Cultural Sports Club, and His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, Chairman of the Executive Committee. They pay great attention and constant follow-up to the school and the academy in pursuit of the goals by adopting the best international practices in football schools and academies to graduate professional football players who can achieve a qualitative addition to the national teams in various age groups so that the Club’s sons can be relied upon in the future.
The member of the Talent Care Committee at Al Ain Club confirmed: “Tournaments dedicated to age categories in the Club are among the essential stations in consolidating the culture of tournaments that the big clubs are accustomed to. They are considered one of the basic standards for development indicators allocated for the teams and players of the Al Ain Club Football School and the Academy.

“The coaching teams and admin staff of the school and the academy are required to adopt the right training policies with full commitment to the club’s vision and mission on the football game future of our players and motivate them to keep pace with the signs of development behaviorally, healthily, technically and academically,” Al Mahmoud said.

H.E. Al Mahmoud concluded his statement: “Here we must praise the work of the football school and the academy for adhering to the strategic plans to achieve the desired goals.”

The Golden List

The coronation ceremony began with honoring the individual prize winners. The winners included: Al Ain U-15 Team Top Scorer, Hazza Feisal, who scored 17 goals, Saeed Al Shamsi, the top scorer in the U-12 league, who scored 35 goals, and Adam Buqera, the top scorer in the U-11 league with 62 goals.
