Abdullah Ali: Al Ain Home Training Camp Indices Are Positive

Under the command of Ukraine’s Sergiy Rebrov, the Boss has kicked off the third phase of the pre-season home camp in Dubai. The training camp will last until 15 August 2021.

Noteworthy, the team has completed the two phases in Spain which lasted through for nearly one month, 12 July until 8 August.

Abdullah Ali, Supervisor of the First Football Team, confirmed that the “Boss” came out with several gains during the period of the away training camp held in Spain, both technically and physically. He also commended all the dedicated efforts exerted by the team players who participated in intensive program of a two to three training sessions on a daily basis.

“Additionally, the coaching team was so keen to hold friendly matches to give the opportunity to all team members to play actual and real matches. They all showed their commitment, seriousness and high sense of responsibility which was a good sign of positive indicators. They all set to kick off the new season with great ambitions,” Abdullah said.

As for the recent status of the injured players, Abdullah Ali stated: “Only Saeed Al Minhali is still the team’s clinic as he underwent successful surgery to clean the knee cartilage in Spain. Yahiya Nader and Mohammed Shaker joined rehabilitation programs and train individually in preparation to rejoin the team’s training sessions.”

In response to a question on the team’s program in the closed home camp in Dubai, he said: “First of all, I would like to thank the Al Nasr Club Management for their continuous cooperation and support over the past years. It is not unusual for Al Nasr Club to take the initiative to offer Al Nasr stadium to be available for our team training sessions.”

“It is scheduled to play a friendly match against Al Nasr on Friday 12 August while implementing the precautionary measures and protocols adopted by UAE. It is certain that the current camp comes as an extension of the team’s preparations in Spain, which lasted 27 days in addition to seven days here, so that the period of the three preparation stages for the season will be 34 days,” Abdullah Ali concluded his statement.
