Medical Results Confirm Caio Canedo Will Not Play for A Month

Al Ain Football Club Company confirmed that the medical test results showed that Caio Canedo suffered from a cramp in the adductor muscle and started a one-month medical treatment program.

In its official statement, the Company explained that Caio underwent medical tests during the past two days under the supervision of the Club’s Medical Committee at the HealthPoint Hospital in Abu Dhabi. Dr. (MD) Ali Zakrete, Orthopedics & Sports Specialist at the HealthPoint Hospital and Medical Committee member, and Dr. (MD) Sebastian Pablo, Orthopedics & Sports Specialist at the HealthPoint Hospital and Medical Committee member, followed up on Caio’s conditions. They took all the measures to start the medical treatment and rehabilitation program.

The Board of Directors of the Al Ain Football Club Company expressed their most profound appreciation for the UAEFA for their professionalism in handling Caio’s injury and their continuous follow-up. The Board of Directors hailed the UAEFA’s swift response to Al Ain Club’s request to release the player to undergo the medical tests and MRI to start his recovery and rehabilitation program. They also commended the dedicated efforts exerted by the medical team of the UAEFA.
