MOHAMMED BIN THALOUB CONGRATULATES REFEREE MOHAMMED ABDULLAH
congratulated international referee Mohammed Abdullah Hassan for his selection to be one of the referees of the coming Russia World Cup 2018 scheduled to be held in June-July 2018 in addition to the assistant referee, Mohammed Ahmad Al Hammadi which he considered as a great honor for the UAE football by managing certain matched if the coming championship. He stressed: “Our international referee Mohammed Hassan is worthy of this choice for being significant throughout most of the seasons as the best international match referee and to continue to shine in many international and regional events.”
H.E. Al Derei praised the excellent role played by all UAE referees who assisted their colleague Mohammed Abdullah to reach this remarkable position and be the Ambassador of the UAE football, given the fact that UAEFA insisted to rely on the skills and experiences of local UAE referees and rejected the idea to assign foreign referees to manage the matches. “This absolutely gave them the confidence to shine and develop their skills in many local and regional events,” said he. He expressed all best wishes of luck to all national referees to contribute to the UAE football advancement and wished the World Cup referee all the best in his coming mission adding that tasking him to be one of the official referees of such a global event is a tribute to his efforts and a gesture of appreciation of the UAE football sector which always strive hard to improve the quality and skills of all its national cadres.
