Al Ain Football Club has officially announced signing a partnership agreement with the Islamic Arab Insurance Company “SALAMA”. The agreement was signed by Rashid Abdullah, Executive Director of Al Ain Club Investment Company, and Mr. Fahim Al Shehhi, the Chief Operating Officer of the Islamic Arab Insurance Company “SALAMA”.

Mr. Fahim Al Shehhi expressed his pleasure, pride, and honor of being a success partner with the biggest football clubs in Asia, enjoying the largest grassroots in UAE.

Al Shehhi emphasized “SALAMA” commitment to adopting the best global practices in providing ideal health insurance services as “it is our role to cooperate and take advantage of our partnerships with the largest and reputable health institutions around the world, especially our national institutions to ensure the players’ safety, and to enhance conducting the periodic medical examinations.”

He further explained that they adopt these practices in line with the company’s vision to provide the best preventive measures to avoid players’ injuries and provide the best medical treatment services.

On this occasion, Rashid Abdullah said: “The Board of Directors of Al Ain Club Investment Company, chaired by H.E. Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Deri, has always emphasized the importance of promoting partnerships with distinguished national institutions and leading global institutions in various fields.”

The Executive Director of Al Ain Club Investment Company further explained: “The terms of the agreement concluded between Al Ain Club and the Islamic Arab Insurance “SALAMA” include the commitment of our new partner to provide comprehensive medical insurance to cover the costs of players’ injuries while playing in local and foreign competitions, especially training sessions, provided that the insurance includes the costs of medical treatment, examinations and all actions required if injuries occur.

He added: “Our partnership with “SALAMA” serves the common goals of both parties, and we are so pleased to have one of the pioneers of insurance companies in the Middle East and North Africa to join the list of the Club’s sponsors. “SALAMA” has recently attained many recognizable achievements, including several local and international awards, the latest of which was the Best Insurance Company Award specialized in Takaful-2021.”

Rashid Abdullah highlighted the fact that Al Ain Club has been associated with glories, titles, and winning championships in various games throughout the Club’s history.
