“We have to be happy considering the significant performance exhibited by the players during the two halves of the match. They were better by their fighting spirit and discipline,” head coach of Al Ain First Football Team, Pedro Emmanuel, stated in the post-match of round 3 of ACL-2020.

He added: “We did not start the second half as required and tried to dominate the match, given that the opponent played 10 official matches before tonight’s match. We made certain changes and looked forward to winning the points of the match, but the one point we snatched is very important considering that the team is not in full form yet.”

“We understand that we are scheduled to play a match every three days. We trust our preparations for the upcoming match against the same opponent regardless of the tonight’s match or even the result of Al Nasr against Sepahan,” he pointed out.

Coach Pedro stressed that he will give the players a break following the great and dedicated efforts they exerted and assured that the next match will be tougher and “both teams would do their best as all teams participating in this championship deserves to compete to win the title of the ACL-2020”.
