The Ukrainian, Sergei Rebrov, the head coach of Al Ain Team, praised the passion and strong desire of his team players to win the opponent and the robust performance they showed during the clash match against Al Nasr Team.
The match was held at Hazaa bin Zayed Stadium this evening in the first leg of the semi-finals of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, and its result ended with a great victory for the Boss at the expense of the guests with a score of 4-1.
Al Ain Team coach confirmed that his team advanced in the first half during the journey to reach the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup final, and still has another match ahead of him at the opponent’s stadium in the second leg of this stage of the competition, which is certainly the most important.
And he continued: “Our mission was not easy in today’s confrontation, especially since the team was missing the efforts of important and key players, including Laba Kodjo, Caio Canedo and Tin, but the team showed a strong performance and achieved the required result.”
