Telecomunications Regulatory Authority, in Coordination with Al Ain FC, Launches “Hutaf” Initiative
Telecomunications Regulatory Authority has, in coordination with the Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club, has launched “Hutaf” initiative which enables sports fans and audience of the People of Determination, with vision loss and vision impairment in specific, to attend matches in staduims and react to its events. the initiative depends on communicating the match commentator’s voice to them, and enabling them to participate in cheering and supporting their favorite club during matches taking place at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, the citadel of Al Ain FC.
The initiative, wich adopts the motto “Listen to Football Enthusiasm”, was launched during a press conference held today in the Chairman Lounge of Al Ain FC at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, with the attendance of HE Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of the TRA, and HE Hamad bin Nakhirat Al Ameri, Managing Director of Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club.
In a comment on launching the intiative, HE Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori said: “Our support to “Hutaf” initiative comes in line with the “Year of Giving” declared by His Highness Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. This announcement represents a token of goodness and giving. as goodness truly dwells in our homeland. Social solidarity is an integral part of our long-established cultur and traditions.”
His Excellency Mr. Hamad addressed the beneficiaries of this initiative by saying: “You are our brothers, beloved ones and partners in building our homeland. Let your insight surpass the power of eyesight, and let your determination be stronger than any challenges. Turn your passion towards your homeland into motive for a relentless pursuit for collaboration in establishing your present and future. You are citizins in a nation that know no despair. Your government will always be with you, your leadership always seizes every opportunity to support you with genuine passion and love. We, at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, through our social responsibility, will keep working to provide you with services that will facilitate your life.”
His Excellency Hamad bin Nakhirat Al Ameri, said: “This initiative, comes in line with our social responsibility policy at Al Ain FC, which comes on top of all our priorities in the administrative and sports sectors, hoping that this initiative will contribute to boosting the UAE football representation in various events, which, in return, will reflect the prominent aspects of the UAE football.
“We confirm that Al Ain FC will keep up making notable achievements by virtue of the great support it receives from our wise leadership, the amazing determination of all players in the first team, and the strong popular support at all times and events, which we do appreciate and respect” , added Al Ameri.
This initiative, comes at a time when the upcoming AGL season begins, which reflects the commitment of both the Authority and the Club to their responsibilities towards the society by providing state-of-the-art solutions and equipment that allow people of determination among football fans and the audience in the UAE to actively participate in supporting their beloved club, and granting them a sense of happiness and joy as they represent a prominent part of the social fabric of the UAE.”
