The Medical Committee of Al Ain Football Club Company has recently issued guidelines and recommendations on the health education and preventive measures to be observed and adopted by the players during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

These guidelines have been circulated to all players of the first football team and junior players of Al Ain Club football academy and school via e-mail. The instructions also included nutrition programs tailored for each player’s needs, and as per the customized individual online training sessions, they are required to practice at home.

Doctor (MD) Talal Al Khazraji, Chairman of the Medical Committee, pointed out that members of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club Company, chaired by H.E. Dr. Matar Rashid Al Darmaki, have approved the formation of the medical committee as of December 2019 based on their keenness to implement the Club’s approved strategic plans on the players’ health aspects.

“This move comes as a realization of the board members’ belief in the vital role played by the Medical Committee to establish an integrated and comprehensive healthy environment for the players covering all preventive, remedial, and psychological aspects to ensure keeping pace with development indicators as per the best health practices.” Dr. Talal said.

He added: “The committee members are tasked to evaluate the performance of all medical teams of the company and to ensure implementing all the players’ health protocols and medical checkups. Also, they are in charge of developing preventive programs to avoid being exposed to diseases and injuries, approving the players’ rehabilitation and recovery programs and following up health and medical status of all the club’s players to ensure that all the players are fit and round back into form to participate in all competitions.”

Dr. Talal signed off by hailing the player’s commitment by the recommendations and guidelines issued by the Medical Committee.
