We Played Two Different Halves.. Sergiy Rebrov: We Lost Concertation in the Second Half
“We Played two different halves in one game where in the first half we dominated the match and took the lead,” Sergiy Rebrov opened the post-match press conference held by the end of the quarterfinal match of the President’s Cup against Al Wasl. The match was held today, Saturday 15th January 2022, at Al Wasl Club Stadium in Za’beel.
The head coach of Al Ain went on to say that he instructed his squad to intensify their efforts and be aggressive to ensure winning the match and not be defensive.
He added: “Both teams committed individual mistakes, but Al Wasl succeeded in taking the advantage of ours while we failed to do so.”
He signed off by admitting that his team played as they lost concentration and tired. He also said that by the end of the day “this is what happened and we lost the match.”
