Abdullah Ali, Al Ain Football Team Supervisor, stated that having AL Mantheri onboard is an added value.

He emphasized: “Al Mantheri enjoys high-quality skills and outstanding performance as a goalkeeper.

Therefore, he will join the team’s training sessions following the end of Spain pre-season training camp along with the players who will end their term with the National Service troops.”

On his part, Al Mantheri underlined that joining the Boss squad is an essential step in his career. “Any footballer always seeks big challenges, and personally, I look forward to achieving my aspirations with the Boss, the top team of UAE League.”

He added that he is exceptionally thrilled by concluding his contract with the Boss and extended his sincerest gratitude and appreciation for his former team, Al Wasl Club, and their loyal fans for their brilliant support during his years with the Club.

He also extended his most profound appreciation for Al Ain Club management and coaching teams to trust his skills. Furthermore, he promised to spare no effort in making the Ainawi grassroots happy and prove that he is up to their expectations. Finally, he wished all his teammates all the best in their journey in all competitions of the new season.

As for playing in the starting lineup of the Boss squad, he commented: “It is certain that Al Ain squad has super goalkeepers under the command of the international goalkeeper Khalid Eisa. Therefore, we have to focus on working with the spirit of the team and supporting the main goalkeeper. If we support him, this will definitely reflect positively on the remaining goalkeepers and push them to the limit to further improve and boost their performance.

This is the most important issue and to focus on achieving great results that make the loyal fans happy and at the same time be in line with the aspirations of the Club and players.”

He signed off by stating that playing for Al Ain is the dream of any player who aims to celebrate winning titles in his career. “I promise everyone to be part of the success journey of the team, but firm hands-on titles and achieve the desired goals.”
