Dr. Rahima Aissani Commends Al Ain Club’s Professionalism and Adherence to Precautionary Procedures

Under the umbrella of the UAE Pro League, Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club organized during 19-21 January 2022 at the VIP Lounge in Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium the “Media Training Workshop”. The players attended the workshop, first and reserved teams, and Al Ain Football Academy. It was held in cooperation with Al Ain University as part of the partnership agreement concluded between the two entities.

The workshop was moderated by Dr. Rahima Aissani, Dean of the College of Communication and Media, Al Ain University, and Dr. Mokhtar Elareshi, Assistant Professor, Al Ain University
and received great interaction and significant attention from all attendees.

The training workshop, which was preceded by a training workshop for the Club’s football academy players yesterday, tackled the practical and theoretical aspects of media affairs through dealing with traditional and modern media, as well as the importance of adhering to the Club’s strategy in communicating with the fans and enhancing positive presence through social media platforms.

The two lecturers also showcased several themes, including the definition of the various media means, their role and importance, in addition to how to deal with the media, the responsibilities of the players, the duties related to media aspects, and the cautions and recommendations associated with posts on social media platforms.

Abdullah Ali, Supervisor of the First and Reserved Teams, praised the efforts of the UAE Pro League and Al Ain University for their keenness to coordinate with the Club on organizing and managing the media training workshop.

He stressed the importance of the topics addressed by the College of Communication and Media specialists, Dr. Rahima Aissani – Dean of the Media and Communications College while expressing his deep appreciation to everyone who contributed to the workshop’s success achieved the desired gains.

In her turn, Dr. Rahima Aissani hailed the quality level of professionalism of all members of the Club’s management, coaching teams, and players.

“The wonderful organization and everyone’s commitment to precautionary measures reflect the positive image of Al Ain Club, which is one of the largest sports entities in Asia,” she said.

She added: “The dedicated efforts exerted by Al Ain Club and the UAE Pro League in organizing such awareness-raising workshops is one of the positive indicators. Indeed, we at Al Ain University are keen to respond to all renowned initiatives to provide the best services to the UAE community and the city of Al Ain in particular.
Dr. Rahima Aissani concluded her statement by stressing that the age groups and their distinguished attendance during the two-day media training workshop that we supervised on Wednesday and Friday gave us a good feeling full of happiness and optimism. We all hope that everyone took advantage of attending such seminars and training sessions.”
