I am <\/span><\/span>enormously proud<\/span><\/span> to be<\/span><\/span> affiliated with Al Ain and we will not think about the past <\/span><\/span>anymore<\/span><\/span> because we are in the process of making new <\/span><\/span>history.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hern\u00e1n Crespo: I extend my gratitude to the fans of Al Ain for their great attendance and continuous support for \u201cThe Boss\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We have contracted with distinguished players in order to compete over the title of all tournaments, as well as to show our powerful personality during all <\/span><\/span>matches.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hern\u00e1n Crespo, the Argentine manager of Al Ain, emphasized, during the introductory press conference for his team\u2019s match vs Al Bataeh, that his team\u2019s preparations went very well <\/span><\/span>to<\/span><\/span> take on his team\u2019s match during the second round of competitions of ADNOC Pro League, <\/span><\/span>elaborating<\/span><\/span>: \u201cWe are well aware that our next match will be very <\/span><\/span>intense against <\/span><\/span>a <\/span><\/span>powerful <\/span><\/span>competitor, b<\/span><\/span>ut<\/span><\/span> we always <\/span><\/span>put our eyes <\/span><\/span>on our team\u2019s current situation and we are looking forward to <\/span><\/span>finishing<\/span><\/span> this<\/span><\/span> stage, which comes before the stoppage <\/span><\/span>time <\/span><\/span>due to the players\u2019 engagements with the<\/span><\/span>ir<\/span><\/span> national football teams during \u201cFIFA Days\u201d, in the most appropriate manner.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I<\/span><\/span>n response to a question <\/span><\/span>about <\/span><\/span>the secret behind his team\u2019s <\/span><\/span>strong <\/span><\/span>kick-off<\/span><\/span> during the current season, he said: \u201cIn <\/span><\/span>the <\/span><\/span>football <\/span><\/span>world <\/span><\/span>there are no secrets, so everyone knows that <\/span><\/span>the <\/span><\/span>strategy Al Ain football club <\/span><\/span>adopts <\/span><\/span>is based on preparing a powerful team that is capable of realizing the club\u2019s sought after goals and to <\/span><\/span>please <\/span><\/span>our fans<\/span><\/span>. That\u2019s why <\/span><\/span>we <\/span><\/span>signed <\/span><\/span>distinguished players in order to fortify the team\u2019s ranks for the <\/span><\/span>intense <\/span><\/span>competition over the title of all tournaments and to show the team\u2019s <\/span><\/span>tough <\/span><\/span>personality during all matches.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Commenting on a question <\/span><\/span>about <\/span><\/span>putting his name on the list of football managers who were capable of claiming the best accomplishments with their club, he said: \u201cIn the beginning<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> I would like to extend my gratitude to the fans of Al Ain over their continuous support and cheering, as well as their amazing <\/span><\/span>presence <\/span><\/span>in support for the team. I also feel <\/span><\/span>immensely proud<\/span><\/span> for being affiliated with Al Ain and for what we have achieved <\/span><\/span>together. Moreover, <\/span><\/span>I am happy with the fans\u2019 support, and I think that Al Ain\u2019s coronation with the title of AFC Champions League football tournament <\/span><\/span>on <\/span><\/span>two occasions, the first time was with the French manager Bruno Jean Cornil Metsu<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> and the second time was with me, is considered something that will be recorded <\/span><\/span>in <\/span><\/span>history, in addition there is a third moment in the history of Al Ain<\/span><\/span> FC,<\/span><\/span>which is making it to the final match of Clubs World Cup, <\/span><\/span>but we should not think about <\/span><\/span>the past <\/span><\/span>because there is a clear and strategic vision for this <\/span><\/span>great <\/span><\/span>club, so we are now in the process of making a new history and we wish success and good luck for the team.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
