The \u201cinternational\u201d player Ahmed Al Swaidi claims a historical accomplishment in \u00a0Hafeit Challenges\u2019 eGames<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Under support from sports leadership..<\/span><\/span>eGames receive unprecedented attention<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Among thrilling atmospheres, the international player Ahmed Al Swaidi, who is the captain of the United Arab Emirates eGames national team, managed to claim the title of the first edition of Hafeit Challenge\u2019s eGames, which is considered the largest of its kind on the level of the country in terms of the rewards\u2019 financial value and the vast participation.<\/p>\n

220 players were competing in 222 matches, which started online, reaching to the final stages of competitions that took place within the board of director\u2019s hall at Hazza Bin Zayed stadium.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The final stages were followed up by, Salem bin Haderim Al Katibi, who is the chairman of the supreme organizing committee of Hafeit Sports Challenge, in addition to Rashid Abdullah, who is the tournament\u2019s director, members from the supreme organizing committee, department managers from Al Ain city\u2019s municipality, as well as a large number of eGames enthusiasts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The tournament witnessed holding matches between elite \u201cPlayStation\u201d players on the level of the country and the Middle East.<\/span><\/span> In the semi finals round of competitions, Ahmed Al Swaidi qualified after claiming victory over the Pakistani player Mohammed Hahd, while Mouhannad Al Mismari managed to defeat Ali Al Hammadi and managed to qualify to the final round of competitions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In a thrilling final match, Ahmed Al Swaidi decisively claimed the title after his victory over Ali Al Mismari with the score of 5-3. So, with this result he was officially crowned as the champion of the tournament’s first edition, emphasizing over his deservedness of this accomplishment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The champion Ahmed Al Swaidi expressed his great cheerfulness over claiming the title and said the following statement:<\/span><\/span> \u201cI am proud that my name will be linked to the first edition\u2019s title of Hafet Sports Challenge, which is the most prominent event that offered the largest financial reward in eGames tournaments on the level of the country.<\/span><\/span> I also extend my gratitude to the supreme organizing committee over this professional organization that contributed in showing up the tournament in the best possible picture.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Al Swaidi added the following statement:<\/span><\/span>\u201cThere is no doubt that the great attention from Al Ain\u2019s municipality, in cooperation with Al Ain sports and cultural club, contributed to the success of this event, which I consider as a brilliant model for all society\u2019s sectors and all of its different categories,<\/span><\/span>While hosting 18 sports through the challenge reflects the great exerted efforts from the organizing committee, which is something that deserves praise and appreciation.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A career full of accomplishments<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Since turning into a professional player in eGames in the year of 2022, Al Swaidi claimed several notable accomplishments, where:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>\u201cHe was summoned to join the national team and represented the United Arab Emirates in national teams\u2019 World Cup tournament, where the team reached the list of best 16 national teams on the level of the world.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span>He claimed the silver medal in the United Arab Emirates eLeague 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span>He claimed the second position in eGames Olympics.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span>He was crowned with two title of the Middle East tournament for the years of 2023 and 2024.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\u2022 <\/span>He claimed the title of the United Arab Emirates League for the year of 2024.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

In his speech over the event, Hassan Mohammed, who is the projects manager at Al Rayyes Contracting company, which is one of the sponsor companies, said the following statement:<\/span><\/span> \u201cHafeit Sports Challenge started big from the first day, and this was not a mere coincidence, but this happened thanks to the vision and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the representative of Al Ain area\u2019s ruler and the first supporter of sports in the region.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He also added the following statement:<\/span><\/span> \u201cWhat distinguishes this challenges is that it was not just an ordinary sports tournament, but it was an inclusive social event that included 18 different sports, it also included all society’s categories, children, women, high ranking citizens, and the people of determination. So, this is an unprecedented accomplishment on the region\u2019s level.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He also pointed out that the success of this event was clearly apparent since the first day, where it was the top \u201ctrend\u201d in the United Arab Emirates, as well as breaking records, such as holding 94 matches in one day, and this is a number that maybe registered on Guinness World Records.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
