Members of the diplomatic corps and a media crowd were in attendance to welcome Al Ain first football team\u2019s expedition to Washington D.C, the capital city of the United States of America<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Boss\u201d arrives at the United States of America holding great national ambitions to take on its international quest<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Amongst global media attention and the official presence that reflects the great value of \u201cThe Boss\u201d as the representative of the United Arab Emirates and as the champion of the Asian continent, on today morning (Wednesday, at 08:00 AM the United States of America time \u2013 04:00 PM the United Arab Emirates time) the expedition of Al Ain first football team arrived at \u00a0Washington D.C, the capital city of the United States of America. The team arrived to continue its preparations, which they started with the internal congregation from the first to the third of the current month of June, which included the medical checks and the morning and evening training sessions, in preparations to participate through the FIFA Clubs World Cup 2025 football tournament.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A number of members from the diplomatic corps were in attendance at Washington airport to welcome the delegation, they were led by Alia’a Majid Al Suwaidi, who is the deputy ambassador to the United States of America, Khalfan Al Dossari, who is the head of the consular services and citizens affairs department, in addition to representatives for the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), as well as a congregation of international media outlets and European news agencies, besides the American sports channels.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The role of the country\u2019s embassy in Washington D.C was not limited to the official protocol aspects, where the embassy initiated the extensive coordination with FIFA\u2019s related official authorities in order to facilitate the delegation\u2019s procedures and to provide all means of support. The embassy\u2019s attention extended to include the United Arab Emirates fans who are willing to support the representative of the nation, by offering them the tailored services in every aspect that would boost their attendance and transform them into the team\u2019s primary morale supporter within the United States of America.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mohammed Saif Al Katabi, who is the member at the board of directors of Al Ain football company, expressed his deep appreciation over the tireless efforts which being made by the embassy of the United Arab Emirates to Washington D.C, the capital city of the United States of America, so as to facilitate all logistic procedures, he also praised the high level of professionalism which has been reflected over the team since the first moment of their arrival.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He extended his dedicated words of gratitude to the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) over the prestigious level of coordination and support, in addition to the Emirates Airlines, who are Al Ain football club\u2019s official partner, as well as to the administration of Dubai airport who represented a prefect role model over the organized work and warm hospitality.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Al Katabi said the following statement:<\/span><\/span> \u201cWe are coming into a decisive period in time, where our preparations are becoming more concentrated over the upcoming period of days, including the closed-door special training sessions, as well as the technical meetings related to the matches. <\/span><\/span>Our trust is limitless in the men of Al Ain first football team, so we hope that this historical attendance to be transformed into results that befit the sought after aspirations of our nation.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In her statements, Alia’a Majid Al Suwaidi, who is the deputy ambassador to the United States of America, expressed her pride over Al Ain football club\u2019s qualification to the FIFA Clubs World Cup 2025 football tournament, when she described this event as \u201ca historical and honorable moment for the United Arab Emirates football,\u201d so she added the following statement:<\/span><\/span> \u201cAl Ain football club is a prestigious football club who has always excelled with its presence in the challenging times. As for its honorable history, it stands as a living proof over its belief in professional work and the spirit of one family.<\/span><\/span> Being present through this global venue is considered a great accomplishment for every citizen within the United Arab Emirates, and we, at the United Arab Emirates embassy to the United States of America, are always in contact with the club\u2019s administration to facilitate all means of support, as well as to provide the inspiring atmosphere that assist the team to deliver a confident and competitive performance.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
