Rodrigo:<\/span><\/span> The UAE President\u2019s Cup has a distinguished position in the hearts of everyone..<\/span><\/span> And Al Ain Club is looking forward to compete over all titles<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On today\u2019s evening, at Manarat Al Saadiyat of Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, the official draw ceremony for the most prestigious of all tournaments , His Highness the United Arab Emirates President’s \u201cmay Allah protect him\u201d Cup, took place. The draw placed Al Ain Club in the round of 16 and to play against the first team to qualify from the preliminary stage of competitions, marking the inauguration of \u201cThe Boss\u201d journey through this tournament starting from the round of 16.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The official draw ceremony witnessed the attendance of a number of clubs representatives and representatives from the local and international media outlets. Atmospheres were characterized with rivalry and the anticipated thrill that will be accompanying the tournament’s rounds of competition, which has always been receiving great attention from football fans, taking into consideration that it is one of the most important and prestigious football tournaments on the level of the United Arab Emirates.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rodrigo Mendes da Silva, who is the Brazilian sporting director at Al Ain Club, expressed his cheerfulness over attending the official draw ceremony of His Highness the United Arab Emirates President’s \u201cmay Allah protect him\u201d Cup, he also emphasized that this tournament represents a distinguished position for him as a former football player and as a current administrative, stressing that his team will be entering this tournament with a sought after ambition of competing over the title.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In his media remarks on the sidelines of the official draw ceremony, Mendes said the following statement:<\/span><\/span> \u201cThe UAE President\u2019s Cup represents the shortest route into officially qualifying to the AFC champions League football tournament in the next season. It is also the sought after goal on which we are working this season, to restore the name of Al Ain Club to the continental theater.<\/span><\/span> This tournament has always been a distinguished experience for me as a players. Now, my role as the sporting director is to be the strong supporter for the team, we also believe in our capabilities to compete in all tournaments:<\/span><\/span>ADNOC Pro League, UAE President\u2019s Cup and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup (ADIB).\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The sporting director at Al Ain Club added the following statement:<\/span><\/span> \u201cWe are well aware that Al Ain Club enters every tournament with an aim to claim the title. We are feeling cheerful over the start of this season and satisfied over the work of the team’s head coach and players.<\/span><\/span> The most important matter is the fighting spirit and the positive mentality with which the players play, which is something that fortifies our capability to reach the final match and to compete over claiming the tournament’s trophy, whoever the identity of the competing team is.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mendes sent a special message to the fans of Al Ain Club by saying the following statement:<\/span><\/span> \u201cThank you to our loyal fans over their continuous support.<\/span><\/span> When we play in a football tournament with the magnitude of the UAE President\u2019s Cup, in our eyes every match is considered as a final match, so we will be fighting in every match for the sake of claiming victory and to advance to the coronation podium.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
