Al Ain terminates Boli’s deal

In a statement published on its web, Al Ain Club announced that it had officially terminated the deal brokered earlier with the Ivorian footballer Yannick Boli only 48 hours after introducing the player to the media.
“The decision to terminate Boli’s deal was taken as a result of the unreasonable privileges which were requested from us today evening by the Russian Anzhi Makhachkala and Yannick contrary to the contract signed with them,” H.E Mohamed Obeid ‘Hammad’, Board member of Al Ain FC Company and the First Team Supervisor, explained.
Hammad pointed out that the Russian Club had surprisingly requested to include extra clauses in the signed contract though Yannick took part in today’s training. “Despite the contract provisions entitle us to refuse and to bind the Russians to those provisions, The Board of Directors saw that it was in the interests of Al Ain Club to replace Yannick,” he added.
Hammad made clear that Al Ain would not be subject to any compromise, especially that Yannick showed signs to violate the contract taking advantage of the short period of time left before the winter transfer window is closed. “We reiterate our full commitment to the Club’s values and principles in dealing indiscriminately with others. After all, the destiny of great football clubs can’t be influenced by one player, regardless of his importance to the club,” he elaborated.
“During the next few hours, we will unveil to the media and our fans the new player who is expected to join and play for Al Ain in it local and regional games until the end of this season,” he concluded.
