H.E. Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of Al Ain Football Company, stated that Al Ain Club has engraved its name and our dearest homeland’s in golden letters in the eternal pages of the history and in the world of football by its unprecedented local and international achievements by crowned as the runners up of the FIFA Club World Cup- UAE 2018. He underlined that all of this would have been impossible without the generous care and support of our wise leadership, determination of the squad stars, the massive support of the fans and the sincere efforts exerted by the dedicated staff of the club along with the unknown soldiers each in their position.
He added: “We experienced countless challenges and exceptional great moments during the past season to the extent we wished that the wheel of time stopped. At the same time, we faced difficult times but we were able to overcome them with the spirit of the one family that signifies this big and great sport entity. Indeed, we were successful in handling some of them and we failed in others as a realization of the statement that hard work pays off but not each hard worker is right.”
Mr. Chairman expressed his sincerest appreciation and gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council, First Vice President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, First Vice President of the Honorary Council & Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, who laid the outline of the success structure of Al Ain Club. “H.H. Sheikh Hazza’s generous and continuous support of the team led to consolidate the culture of the innovation and creativity in the club and make each member so dedicated to keep pace with all indicators of development and achieve the highest levels of success.
Al Hajeri went on to say: “In realization of the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, we have completed all the arrangements for the coming new season starting from renewing the players’ contracts who entered their last six months of their contracts and meeting all the requirements of the coming stage.”
“We work day and night tirelessly before the Holy month of Ramadan seeking to make things happen in the right way and manner. We are nearly done and there is little to be completed prior announcing officially the details with God willing in the coming days as soon as all the files are ready,” he said.
Al Hajeri addressed an appreciation messages to those who are leaving the club by saying: “We do appreciate the outstanding efforts exerted by all those who contributed to the eternal achievements of the club wishing them all the best in their career, including Amer Abdul Rahman who was forced to leave the team due to personal conditions and decided not to renew his contract. Also, thanks go to Caio Lucas, Marcus Berg, Hamid Tongo Doumbia, Robin Rubero, and the Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido.
Mr. Chairman also congratulated all the players who have officially renewed their contracts recently hailing their loyalty to the club and showing sound determination to be part of the Boss squad and continue defending its logo. “Though they entered their last six months in addition to the indirect pressures exerted by other clubs, they ended up by hitting a solid wall of well-established relationship between the club and its sons who all enjoys the spirit of “Ainawi” family.”
Al Hajeri stressed: “The file of renewing the players’ contracts will be completed soon and that we are in the final stages of negotiations with the foreign players who are selected to join the team and details will be officially announced soon. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my brother in the board of directors for their dedication and great efforts to finalize the contracts dossier under the supervision of H.E. Mohammed Obeid Hammad, Board Member of Al Ain Football Company and Supervisor of the first and reserved football teams.”
He also expressed his appreciation to the Board Members of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club for their great efforts in accordance with the directive of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the club’s strategy which is based on the principle of integration of roles of this lofty and big sports entity to achieve the desired balance administratively and technically.
He added: “I would like also to highlight the key role played by Al Ain Investment Company, headed by H.E. Mohammed Bin Thaloub Al Deri, in supporting all the marketing and commercial operations related to Al Ain Football Company and Al Ain stars as well. He spares no efforts to facilitate renewing the players’ contracts and attract new stars to boost the strength of the team to be able to perform with honor and achieve the desired goals incorporated in the vision of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, the the founder of the club’s success strategy.”
“We have also to hail the efforts exerted by H.E. Hamad Bin Nukhairat Al Ameri, the Managing Director, in providing the legal support and the strict follow-up to maintain the rights of Al Ain Football Company consistent with the systems, bylaws and laws of UAEFA on regulating the players’ affairs, contracts and their salaries’ ceilings. Al Ain is a model role in abiding by laws and implementing them.”
Al Hajeri addressed a message to the loyal Ainawi fans who plays an influential and important role in finalizing the contracts of the players through their stunning continuous support through the social media platforms. Indeed, this enhanced all the staff to push themselves to the limit in response to the reaction of the beating heart “Ainawi Nation” who insisted to keep the sons of the club and achieve its goals in the next season by adding more unparalleled achievements to its heroic history.”
