Mazouani: My Aspirations With the “Global Boss” Will Never Soar Below the Sky

Yassin: So Proud to Belong to Al Ain Club

Al Ain Club has completed all the official procedures of signing the new two French midfielders, Omar Yassin (19 years) and Idris Mazouani (19 years).

The contract term will extend for three seasons, and they are registered within the category of “residents” after they became free players, the Al Ain Club announced.

Mohammed Obaid, “Hammad,” the First and Reserved Football Teams Supervisor, said that the potential gains from the historic decision to allow the participation of the residents and players born in the UAE in the official competitions are not only limited to technical aspects, but they are extended to include investment and marketing advantages. “The decision has boosted the spirit of loyalty to our blessed homeland, and we wish the newly arrived two players all the best in their career with the Boss squad.”

Hammad stressed: “We will resume our efforts to enhance the Boss squad by signing new players until the end of the transfer summer window to fill gaps in positions identified by the head coach in coordination with the members of the Technical Committee.”

As for the reason behind the delay in publishing news on the official announcement of having the new players on board, he said: “As you know, we could not make any official announcements until all procedures and correspondences with the players’ local associations through the UAEFA are completed. This is the reason behind delaying the announcement of signing the contracts.”

In turn, the newly arrived French players expressed their pleasure and pride in joining the Boss squad describing their new team as one of the best clubs in Asia and the Arab world.

They stressed: “Al Ain Club enjoys a significant reputation as one of the big clubs. The evidence that they hold the responsibility to raise the name of the UAE and Arab countries is the squad’s honorable participation in the FIFA Club World Cup- UAE 2018 and other Asian and Arab football competitions.”

The midfielder, Omar Yassin, confirmed that he is a follower of Al Ain team and is well acquainted with the history of the Club. “I also know the history of many players who defended the Club’s logo throughout the Club’s history, including Asamoah Gian, Abedi Pele, Danilo Esprella and Gerèce Kempo. They all contributed to the Club brilliant local, regional, continental, and international achievements.”

Idris Mazouani said: “I actually got to know Al Ain when my French compatriot Gerèce Kempo joined its squad.

“Kembo and I belong to the same area in France, and when he joined Al Ain Club, I started to follow the news of the Club and watched a number of the Boss matches. Therefore, I feel thrilled after joining Al Ain, and there is no ceiling for my ambitions with this great Club.”
