“Though our mission will not be that easy, but we are determined to do our best and achieve the best positive result with all due respect to our opponent,” Bandar Al Ahbabi addressed the media representatives attended the press conference dedicated for the first match of the Boss in this season 2019/2020 against Shabab Al Ahli Dubai in the Arabian Gulf Cup competition.

He added: “All the squad players know well the importance of having a strong head start and they push themselves to the limit to improve their performance and secure a position in the starting lineup of the team.”

“The preseason preparations under the command of the Croatian head coach, Ivan Leko, went well and as planned. The head coach has been so keen to make all the players ready technically and physically while adopting two-interval training sessions with sights set to achieve the desired aspirations and make the loyal Ainawi fans happy,” Bandar stated.

Responding to a question on his commitment to keep up his best and distinguished performance as he did last season, he said: “There is no a football player who rejects the idea of improving his performance and doing well to defend his team’s badge, considering you play for a big team furnishing all the grounds to ensure your success and has the capabilities to ensure making your mission easier. We have not to forget the massive support I receive from my teammates, the management, coaching team, and on top is the loyal fans. I always aspire to do whatever it takes to defend the logo of the Boss.”

On the special event dedicated to present the players prior the kickoff of the team’s home match against Shabab Al Ahli Dubai scheduled to be held on Friday, he commented: “It is not unusual for Al Ain to launch exceptional initiatives and the coming event to introduce the squad’s players to the fans attending the match will be a great motive for all of them to achieve the desired goals. Indeed, Al Ain fans need no invitation to attend and be behind their team from the standings of the stadium during all the matches of this new season.”
