Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, was talking with self-confidence before his team’s opening match vs Al Bataeh Club through the local ADNOC Pro League, he also emphasized that his philosophy in training is based on “logic”,  so choosing the appropriate style and plan of play should be compatible with the capabilities of the available players and the situation of the competing team.

The Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team said the following statement: “We sometimes play with four or five players on the defensive line of play, but this is something that is subject to change according to the starting lineups. So, it will be  something unreasonable to impose a system of play that is not suitable for my team players.”

The Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team pointed out that his team had prepared very well to deal with the closed defensive style of play, which has been adopted by some competing teams, a scenario that frequently occurred through the past sporting season. Over his team’s sought after ambition in restoring the title of ADNOC Pro League, Ivić refused to make comparisons with the previous head coaches, so just said the following statement: “I can only promise you that I will be doing my best and all I have got, and that I will be working on a daily a basis to improve the team as a complete ecosystem and to improve every player aside from the other.”

Ivić considers that the competition to claim the title of ADNOC Pro League through the current sporting season will be very thrilling, he also expected that there could be six to seven teams that are capable of competing through the final stages of competition.
