Al Ain Serbian coach, Vladimir Ivić, emphasized that Al Ain’s preparations for their match against Al Hamriyah Club in the Round of 16 of the UAE President’s Cup are proceeding with great confidence and concentration, noting that the tournament holds a special place for all of us and is one of Al Ain’s most important target’s for the current season.
In press statement, he said: “I realize how important and special the UAE President’s Cup is to everyone, and it holds special value for Ainawi fans. Of course, this tournament is one of our targets this season, as part of the strategy through which we focus on each match and stage separately”.
Regarding the confrontation against a First Division League Team, Al Hamriyah, the Serbian coach added: “There is no easy football match as each competitor plays against Al Ain with great motives to do their best. Therefore, we do our best to prepare well and focus fully, while analyzing the competitor’s performance and respecting its ambitions. We know quite well that this match is a part of a prestigious, important, and powerful tournament, absent from Al Ain’s trophies since 2017-2018 season. Therefore, we deal with it with the utmost seriousness and responsibility”.
In conclusion, Ivić emphasized on his great confidence in his players, saying: “I am absolutely confident in my players’ capabilities and their strong sense of responsibility as they realize the importance of continuing our strong performances and achieving positive results to attain Al Ain’s targets set since the start of the season.”
