Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, confirmed that claiming victory with three goals without any response in his team’s away first leg match of the semi finals round of competitions of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup “ADIB” vs Al Nasr Club does not mean that the task has already been decisively secured, he also stressed over the necessity to maintaining the same continuous rigorousness and concentration while playing the second leg match of the same round of competitions.

During the pre-match introductory press conference, Vladimir Ivić said the following statement: “Our team’s preparations are going on very well as usual, but we are well aware that the task has not yet been decisively secured. We also need the same concentration and rigorousness with which we played the first leg match, because we will be playing 100 minutes vs a team that will be fighting to realize their sought after goals, which is considered as something normal.”

Al Ain first football team’s Serbian head coach added the following statement: “If we were not up to the highest degrees of concentration, we will not be able to expect a positive result. As for our team players, they are required to be 100% ready, while who feels that he will not be totally ready, then certainly there is an ample room to engage their teammates who are more prepared, because our team is in a good shape and we are monitoring the status of Yahya Ben Khaleq, who is the team’s international Moroccan center back defender, and hopefully he will be fully ready to play in our team’s upcoming second leg match.”

Over how to maintain the concentration of his team players despite their big victory in the first leg match, the head coach of Al Ain first football team said the following statement: “Our team players are working rigorously for the sake of this advantage, and it would be a mistake to think that the task has been secured in our favor. As I have mentioned to you, our sought after goal is not only to qualify to the tournament’s final match, rather, it is to claim victory on our upcoming match. While victories are the most difficult to claim in the realm of football, as it requires respecting the competing team, teammates, the club, as well as the coaching staff.”

The Serbian head coach of Al Ain Club spoke about the firmness of his team’s defensive line of play, which finished seven out of 14 matches with a clean sheet through this sporting season, so he said the following statement: “Maintaining a clean sheet is the final outcome of hard work and paying attention to the finest of details. Definitely this is something not easy, as sometimes we need an extra surge of luck, but this outcome cannot be considered as a mere luck when we maintain a clean sheet of our net seven times, as well as assuming the top position on the tournament’s standings table. So, we will be playing a difficult match, afterwards we will start preparing to handle a very busy stage through the upcoming month of January 2026.”
