Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, emphasized over the readiness of his team with the kick off of the second stage of competitions of ADNOC Pro League football tournament. This statement came before Al Ain Club’s upcoming match vs Kalba, which is scheduled to take place on the day after tomorrow on Kalba Stadium, during the 14th round of competitions of the local tournament.
During match’s introductory press conference, Ivić said the following statement: “Our preparations to take on our upcoming march went on very well, we are also well aware that the task will not be easy vs an organized team, especially that we will be playing on their pitch. Kalba is a club that knows how to play on the defensive and forward lines with a clear style of play, we have also played against them several weeks ago in a match that was complicated, even if we managed to claim victory in the end.”
The head coach of Al Ain Club pointed out that the ranks of his team are complete in an important timing, so he explained with the following statement: “After a long period of time, our team’s lineup is now complete, which is something very important. While our sought after goal is clear as always, which is to claim match three points.”
The Serbian head coach mentioned his team’s statistics during the first stage of competitions of ADNOC Pro League football tournament, emphasizing over his confidence in the general path of his team, so he said the following statement: “During the first round of competitions, we managed to claim important numbers, which are record high numbers in the Pro League, it also reflects the great work of our players. It is true that we did not maintain the top position on the tournament’s standings table during the final round, but the most important matter is the team’s position with the conclusion of the season, not in the middle of competitions.”
He added the following statement: “I told our players that the tournament has just started for us. While every match will be powerful, and there is no easy match in the realm of football, so we will be fighting in every match we will play for the sake of realizing our sought after goals.”
Over the importance of the return of the international players Ramy Rabia and Soufiane Rahimi, he said the following statement: “Their return is very important for the team, considering their great experience and potential. I have already emphasized that we have in possession a young squad of players, and it may be one of the youngest teams in terms of average age in Pro League. Our young players improved distinctively during the final months of the past year, thanks to their desire, rigorousness, and exposure to the seasoned players, so we will be working hard to elevate their performance for the sake of realizing our club’s sought after goals.”
