Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, emphasized that his team deserved to claim victory and to qualify, he also praised the great work of his players all along match’s playtime.
Through his remarks after match’s full-time, Ivić said the following statement: “I congratulate Al Ain Club players over this deserved victory. They worked hard from the first minute until the final whistle, we were also capable of realizing our sought after goal for this match, which is to qualify to the semi-finals round of competitions.”
Over match playtime, Al Ain Club’s head coach explained with the following statement: “We were well aware that Dibba Club will rely on organizing the defensive line of play, we also tried during match’s first half to break this defensive blockade, and to create several decisive scoring chances by Palacios, Erik, and Kaio, but they were not transformed into goals.”
He added the following statement: “Playing vs a team that is defending with a large number of playersis not an easy task, it requires patience and concentration. During match’s second half we continued our pressure, we created several scoring chances, scored three goals, and we were capable of scoring more.”
The Serbian head coach of Al Ain Club concluded his speech by saying the following statement: “In general, I am satisfied over the performance and the style of play of our team, which is what concerns us during this period.”
