Ivić:  We will be playing the match with a competitive mentality and full concentration for the sake of claiming victory

Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, emphasized that his team’s preparations to take on their upcoming match vs Al Jazira Club are positively going on very well and in line with the usual approach. He also pointed out that the coaching staff has started to prepare for the upcoming match immediately after the President Cup match, which took place on last Saturday vs Dibba Club.

During the pre-match introductory press conference, Al Ain Club’s head coach explained that his team’s upcoming match vs Al Jazira will be difficult, in which his team will be playing vs a competing team that has in possession a distinguished squad of players and a high coaching quality. He also emphasized that the coaching staff has worked during the past couple of days on the various technical aspects, whether on the open play, free kicks, or transformations in play, in line with the team’s identity and its style of play.

The Serbian head coach pointed out that his team players are up to the highest degrees of readiness, with the presence of some minor technical details which will be handled during the upcoming two days. He also emphasized that his team will enter the match with a competitive and positive mentality and with a clear sought after goal that is to claim victory.

Over his expectations for the upcoming match, the head coach of Al Ain Club emphasized that the second leg match will be similar to the first leg match in terms of power and competitiveness, taking into consideration players’ high quality and the motivations of each team. He also stressed over the great importance of full concentration on implementing game plan all along match’s lifespan, which might be extended after the minute of 90.
