In coordination with UAE Pro League and in cooperation with the University of Al Ain, Al Ain Club organized an advanced media training program under the title of “Dealing with Media Outlets and Smart Digital Media”. The program has targeted the players of the U21, U19 and U17 teams, under the requirements of licenses and the players’ inclusive development programs.

The program included advanced topics presented by Dr. Sawsan Taha, who is the professor of communications and media at the University of Al Ain. The topics focused on developing players’ awareness in the importance of the digital presence, as an integral part of their professional career, as well as reviewing the fundamental basics of the influential content creation and the techniques of harnessing artificial intelligence technologies in the fields of performance, marketing and communication.

The workshop also covered the professional standards related to utilizing social media platforms, emphasizing over the protection of the player’s digital reputation, in light of the direct influence of the media attitude over the professional opportunities and sports contracts, especially with the growing role of the digital platforms in evaluating the players outside the pitch.

Organizing this initiative comes as part of Al Ain Club’s strategy that aims to prepare an integrated player, who possesses the media awareness and the required professionalism to keep up with the requirements of modern football, whether inside or outside the green pitch.
